Nicaragua’s
South Pacific Coast
Central
America’s most pristine and un-commercialized Pacific Coast beaches
are located in Nicaragua. The least visited and most attractive
beaches on this long unmolested stretch of coastline are found
in the southern department of Rivas, around the peaceful fishing
village of San Juan del Sur. Situated on a tan beach that lines
a clear water, half-moon bay, San Juan del Sur is a great place
to swim, hike or relax and a perfect base from which to explore
some of Nicaragua's greatest coastal treasures.
Choose between two
full-day excursions along this virgin paradise: the Nicaraguan
Costa Azul. The most stylish way to travel is in sailing yacht,
with an open bar, an excellent beach barbecue and swimming and
relaxing at a empty beach, a magnificent, broad, light beige sand
cove. More adventurous travel is in motorboat; exploring numerous
deserted beaches, like the hidden gem Playa Blanca, a pure white
sand jewel, only accessible by boat, or the empty Playa Coco,
a marvelous copper sand beach surrounded by lush tropical forest,
and many other secret stretches of this precious coastline.
This is a great escape
to Nicaragua’s most fabulous Pacific beaches, a festival of sand,
surf and sun.
